Lunar Eclipse Tonight
February 20th 2008 by Kelly in Charlottesville, Local News
Typically there is an eclipse somewhere in the world once every 18 months. There will not be another lunar eclipse that we’ll be able to see in Charlottesville until late in 2010. You don’t need a microscope to see this eclipse either. It will happen around 8:30 pm tonight. A lunar eclipse is when the earth comes between the sun and the moon. The moon will go from being full to completely disappearing and then become full again.
