Friday night The Box opened for business. So naturally, we had to check it out. It is a cozy space. It felt very crowded even though it was probably just because you were touching the person beside you because there was not very much unused space. There is also only one bathroom, I didn’t feel like that was a big deal until I needed to use the bathroom and there were 5 people in front of me.

The food was good. Out of the 4 things that we ordered we only got two of them though. Confusion on the first night is understandable. The two we did get were very tasty and not overpriced. Not too much seasoning and grilled the way we liked. The drinks are written on a chalk board above the bar, so you don’t have to look at the menu. Behind the bar is a picture of Mr. Miyagi, from Krate Kid, it is larger than life and painted with a lot of detail. There is also a gong next to the bar that they use at the end of the night to get everyone out, it was also knocked a few times randomly, and supposedly you can hit the gong on your birthday!
