New Restaurant - The Local

Update: The scheduled soft opening of March 4th was postponed. The new opening date is the 13th. The restaurant is starting to look ready. I like the addition of the wooden fence around the block too, it makes the area look a lot nicer. The chairs are all stacked inside the door, but no patio seating has been placed outside yet. The now hiring sign was taken down when I drove by on Tuesday making it look ready to open. The restaurant is waiting on a liquor license and an additional patio area on the back of the second floor before opening for business.

The soft opening (the one you had to be invited to) took place on Monday night, but the opening that everyone is invited to is tomorrow night! I want to go, but I’m working, I’ll have to check it out this weekend and post new pictures.
A note from Sara Champagne from her facebook message about the opening:
“My boyfriend Theo helped his friend Adam open a restaurant and the grand opening is this thursday!! come have a yummy cocktail or dinner if you’re free :)”
So far there are only 6 confirmed guests so it might be a great night to try it out!
