Real Estate has traditionally been a way for women to be involved in the workforce and still have flexibility, even before flex-time and family benefits were considered in other professions. Career minded mothers were able to balance a career and a family, but it seemed that men still had the top jobs in the Real Estate Companies. Times are changing.

Sixty-Five percent of Real Estate agents are women. A recent addition of the Swanepeal Trends Report shows that in the past 2 years that women have successfully moved into the #1 and #2 positions, that were formally held by men. A few companies that Swanepeal listed that have women executives are Keller Williams Real Estate, the Federal Deposit Insurance Insurance Co., ERA Real Estate, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, Howard Hanna Real Estate, Prudential Real Estate Affiliates, and ReMAX International.
