New Restaurant on the Downtown Mall

The downtown mall was missing a Mexican Restaurant. I know that everyone seems to love Guadalajara and that it’s not that far of a walk from downtown, but it will be nice to have a Mexican Restaraunt on the mall. The new Restaurant will occupy the old Kiki location and construction is well under way. The owners, Relana and Michael Fitzgerald are planning for an opening in 2 weeks. The new name for the Spanish themed restaurant is La Ventana. La Ventana means the window in Spanish. There are so many beautiful cafes and a hotel in Spain with the name. When I searched for the hotel in Spain I found that it only has 14 rooms and has an unpretentious style and the cafes were beautiful and romantic. The 14 room hotel is very small, just like the space that La Ventana here with occupy. It will be interesting to see what changes are made to the interior of the restaurant once the brown paper covering the windows is ripped down.
