Make Yourself at Home…Anywhere in the World

Make Yourself at Home…Anywhere in the World is HomeExchange.com’s way to appeal to homeowners to switch homes with a stranger. There are over 20,000 homes available for swap on the site, so it must be a good way to go on vacation. HomeExchange is just one website that links users that want to trade homes to each other. I like the idea of getting to go somewhere for vacation and the only exchange of fee being my home. I’m sure Charlottesville homes would be very popular for the swap since we all love living here so much. Charlottesville also just ranked 18th in CNN Money’s #1 Places to Live and Launch siting the livelihood of the college town, culture, arts and outdoor venues as reasons that we love to call Charlottesville our home. I thought these two houses were neat, the top picture is a home listed for swap in Brazil and the bottom one is a home in Germany.
Would you feel comfortable letting someone stay in your home?
Would you prefer to switch homes with someone that is only a short drive away or switch homes for an extended stay?

I’ll switch with that house in the picture with the palm tress… Anyone living in Hawaii out there want to live in Charlottesville / Belmont for a week??

Thanks for publishing a post about home exchange - it may cost a small amount to join a reputable agency but the savings that are made on accommodation can be huge. I hope you will visit my blog for more information about home exchange:

PS Charlottesville would definitely be popular with home exchangers!
