First Friday

Usually I have a hard time getting downtown early enough to enjoy First Fridays, but tonight I am going. I feel like I usually have an excuse like 4:30 Bikram. I feel like I miss out by not taking advantage of this neat event that Charlottesville plans for us on the first Friday night of the month. It’s great that the galleries open their doors for a reception and refreshments. Some artists use downtown restaurants like Cafe Cubano and Enoteca to display their work. The artists get to keep their work hung for the month if you miss out on tonights event.
