Sons of Bill Opening for Fridays After Five
April 18th 2008 by Kelly in Charlottesville, Local EventTonight is the first night of Fridays After Five! Sons of Bill are playing at the Pavilion from 5:30-10. Their music is country-rock. They’re a neat group because they don’t just use the usual instruments, one band member, Abe Wilson plays the Organ and Banjo too. Sons of Bill’s summer schedule looks busy, but they’re a fun group to listen to in concert and they are making another appearance at the Pavilion later in the summer with Gary Allen. Take advantage of the free concert tonight because the concert with Gary Allen will not be a Fridays venue.
What’s your favorite Sons of Bill song?

I really like their new song Charleston, it’s a typical country music song intact with a breakup, alcohol and the ocean, but it’s still such a pretty song.

I think all of their songs are great, but my favorite at this point is “When the Song is all that Remains”. LOVE IT!
