Verity Blue

by Kelly on May 29, 2008

Charlottesville keeps surprising me. Saturday I went to the Albermarle Baking Company to get a pastry in the morning and on my way stopped to take a look at the shop on the corner, Verity Blue. Since it’s not on the downtown mall I don’t walk by it everyday, but the corner spot is hard to miss with its lavender walls and oversized window. The store carries European furniture and landscape decorations, linens and china. It feels like the store has a little bit of everything to help you decorate. The huge dining room tables on display are beautiful and they have a wedding registry.

Have you purchased any home decorations at Verity Blue?

I have never bought anything there, but aren’t they moving into the space where Two French Hens used to be? (In the pink building on South St.) I thought I saw their sign in the window.

Thanks Patience, you’re right! They said they plan to move on July 1st and be open for business again on July 3rd.

Interesting… I wonder who will want the purple space :)
