Wii Fit

Daniel and Amy are trying the running workout.

Yesterday we got a Wii Fit Balance Board.  It’s very entertaining.  You can use your Wii character and do the body composition test before you start “working out” with it.  It’s pretty funny the data that it comes back with just from standing on it and leaning slightly from one side to the other.  It takes about five minutes and then it tells you if you are underweight, normal, overweight, or obese, then it tells you your Wii age.  It said I was 41 so it was off by about 15 years, I think that’s pretty bad.  It also asked me if I trip a lot when walking, but it didn’t let me answer, it just offered the evaluation.  It wants to help me get fit in 2 weeks by working out with the Wii trainer and doing aerobics, yoga, and playing sports.  I’ll let you know how it goes.  Other people also have a problem with the age and evaluation.  I think it just likes to poke a little fun at you.

What’s your favorite Wii Fit game?  I think the hula hoop exercise game was the most fun to watch.  The game threw hula hoops at you and you had to catch them and keep hula hooping the ones you already had on you.

We are playing the “Aerobic Jogging” mini-game - which I one, btw, even though Wii Fit says I have the body of a 53 year old…
