I saw Baseball’s Worst Team
July 14th 2008 by Kelly in GeneralSaturday I drove up to DC, well actually drove some and then caught the subway as soon as possible to avoid using my car in the city. It was so easy. From Charlottesville I drove out 29 to 66, get off the highway at exit 62, Vienna Nutley Street Metro, then you can park your car and not worry about the hassle of finding a place to park anywhere. I had never been to the Smithsonian Museums and thought it was a necessary trip since we live so close, who knew admission was free? It was a great way to spend a Saturday.
Saturday night I watched the Washington Nationals, dubbed baseball’s worst team, get beat. I missed out on the game that they won against the Astros 10-0 the previous night.

I was there too! Watching the homerun derby with Josh Hamilton hitting 28 home runs in the first round was more exciting.
