Charlottesville Real Estate in the New York Times

July 16th 2008 by Kelly in Charlottesville, Real Estate

The New York Times published an article yesterday titled “What you Get for …$700,000,” Charlottesville(well actually Scottsville) made the line up of three homes along with Orlando and Tuscon.  The home that was picked is a 2,083 square foot log cabin that sits on 45 acres of land.  The property is currently listed with Charlottesville Country Properties 434-964-0406 with Bill Martin.

Of course Charlottesville made it, but why that cabin. That’s not even a good picture of that house at all. I looked it up and the features of that house are all on the inside, a wood burning stove updated with gas, wood floors, a view of Monticello in the summer, the view would have had to be the selling point.

Even though it’s a $700,000 house they are also marketing it as a log cabin get away like a vacation home. Only 15 of the 45 acres are cleared too so it would be very private.
