Downtown Bridge Hit

by Kelly on October 16, 2008

Today at around 3:45 our office heard a loud noise, nothing out of the ordinary, since the train can be noisy at times. The loud noise ended up being a truck that was way to big, by feet not inches, to pull under the bridge. The trucking company name was cropped out of the picture to protect the guilty party.

Seriously, that isn’t even *close*. What was he thinking?

I guess that means this road will be closed for a while. FYI – This is the train bridge over 4th St. – right by the Water St. parking garage downtown and across from Bikram Yoga.

That fact that the bridge almost clipped the CAB of the truck wasn’t enough of a warning?

Wow. Some people are special. Here we have it, proof that people don’t watch the road in front of them, better a bridge than a small child I guess?

Chad, the answer is that they weren’t thinking! Maybe they didn’t see the bridge?

Yikes!

There may be a better picture once we see a train crossing it.
