Masquerade Brawl at the Ix

I like events at the Ix and one is coming up next Friday for Halloween. Charlottesville’s Derby Dames are hosting the fundraiser event. The party starts at 8pm and goes until 2am. Tickets are available for $15 at Black Cat Skateshop. Mass Sabbath and DJ Dalivah will be performing at the event along with a silent auction and and a 50/50 raffle to benefit the Derby Dames.
A couple weeks ago they washed my car in roller skates, they were working hard and getting a lot of cars washed. The girls practice every Wednesday at the National Guard Armory next to the jail on Avon Extended from 7-10pm. The first practice is free and they usually have skates and pads to borrow, after that practices are $5 per time until you become a dues paying member. You have to be 19 to skate on the team.

The Ix is the place to be on Halloween. $15 gets you in the door and there will be food and a cash bar.
