SPCA Fundraising with Major League Memorabilia

Friday night(Nov 15) visit the East Rivanna Fire Company banquet facility, not a far drive, it’s in Keswick. The Charlottesville-Albermarle SPCA is hosting a live and silent auction of signed memorabilia. “Paws Go Major League,” is the name of the event and it will showcase items from several professional athletes including Brett Favre, Derek Jeter, David Beckham, and Tiger Woods. NY mets pitcher, Billy Wagner, and scout for Tampa Bay Rays, Michael Cubbage will be the auction hosts.

From 5-8 you’ll be entertained with a buffet dinner and country music. Tickets are $20 and kids under 12 are free.

    too bad derek jeter won’t actually be there, but I can’t complain…I met Dave Matthews at the live arts gala this weekend

    Supporting the SPCA is really important. Seeing all the cats in the window at the SPCA pet store makes me really sad.
