The Dogwood Festival at McIntire park kicked off on Friday night with Carnival rides. The Festival will last through the 26th of this month. The Fireworks display will be tomorrow night, Tuesday (April 14th) at 9 pm along with a Pork BBQ dinner. The Celebration of the Community will take place downtown at the Pavilion on Wednesday April 22nd from 5-7pm, for more information 434-295-3141. Full listing of events.

will there be anything tonight?
I’m sorry I didn’t see this last night Catie. They had postponed the fireworks display until Thursday because of the rain. Now you can see the display tomorrow night(April 16th) around 9. Hopefully it won’t rain then!
