My family celebrated Father’s day a week early at Boylan Heights. We all live in different states now so it was the first time we had ever had everyone in Charlottesville. Don’t forget about Boylan brunch this Sunday. Where are you taking your dad for Father’s Day?
Fridays After Five: The English Channel- Performs British tunes from the 60s and 70s, classic rock and pop.
Mid-Atlantic Power Festival- Ruckersville- $10- opens at 5, There will be MX MotoCross, Demolition Derby, Rock Crawling Demonstrations, Sand Drag Racing, Truck and Tractor Pulls, Barrel Racing, Mutton Busting and Bull Riding
Bike Virginia- 2,000 bikers will make their way through Charlottesville, Culpepper, and Orange. Admission is $265
Movie in the Vineyard at Kluge- Tonight 7:30-11:30, bring a blanket or some chairs to sit out on the lawn. Tonight they’re playing Casablanca. It’s $50 per couple and it includes a wine and cheese basket. Outside food is not permitted.
Richmond Vegetarian Festival-Veggie Foods and Vendors Selling Crafts. The Festival is Free, but donations are suggested.
Central Virginia Wine Festival- To Support the Hokies, 14 Vineyard Tastings are included with the price of admission $20 in advance or $25 at the gate. Saturday 12-6 Pets are welcome
All About Fruit Day- Saturday- Edible Landscaping in Afton, VA will have tours, lectures, music, and food to teach you how to get started growing some of your own food. All plants will be at least 20% off and some plants will be 50-60% off.
