The ongoing concerns about the rezoning of 814 Hinton have been resolved. Last night the property was approved to be rezoned by City Council to become a creole restaurant. What do you think? Are you excited about another restaurant in Belmont?

Yes! I’m excited for another restaurant in Belmont. In a cool old house too. Little Downtown Belmont is growing up.
I’m aware of the noise concerns – I live almost across the street from where this restaurant will be. Parking is my biggest concern – it’s not bad yet, but I assume the city will need to start issuing permits pretty soon. As for the noise – the restaurant noise in Belmont is nowhere near as loud of annoying as the motor scooters zipping all over the place. Banning any motor vehicle with less than 4 hours would reduce Belmont noise by 90%.
Any idea when it will open?
