I missed my flight out of Atlanta last night so I flew in this morning and got to work just in time for our lunch break at Guad. What’s your favorite Mexican food restaurant in Charlottesville? There’s mixed reviews on Guad, but whenever anyone suggests Mexican food it seems like Guad is always picked. I prefer El Puerto, but how about Baja Bean (on the corner)? I also really like La Michoacana, even though it’s pretty much Mexican takeout, there are a few tables.
I love how much fun I seem to be having in this picture. I asked our waiter to take a picture of us and he asked if I wanted it of just me. I’m glad he didn’t cut the rest of the group out. It’s still a pretty awkward picture.

Aqui es Mexico used to be my preferred place for all food south of the border till La Michoacana took over the spot.
Thanks for leaving a comment hashdefine. I’ve heard great things about Aqui es Mexico as well, but I think it’s weird that they don’t put cheese on any of the plates. People say it’s more authentic but the cheese is the best part!
