What’s your favorite restaurant between the downtown mall and the corner? In the little area by the Walker Square Condos there are 4 restaurants that sometimes slip my mind, there’s Maya, Continental Divide, Zinc, and Si Tapas.
The margaritas at Continental Divide?
The French 99 at Zinc?
The fried okra at Maya?
The music venue at Si?
What are your favorite things about the restaurants that aren’t quite downtown, but also aren’t considered a part of the corner?

I like the term “The Middle”. I think you should promote that as the name for that area. What were the restaurants trying to call it?
That area has potential. The just need to widen the sidewalks, add some parking and more light at night.
