Charlottesville Weekend Plans

Friday: Crozet Music Festival: The weekend is packed with great artists, you can view the full lineup here.  $15 in advance…tickets available at Mincer’s, $18 at the door, Campground space is still available at Misty Mountain Campground.  The site of the music festival is at Misty Mountain.  From Charlottesville take I-64 to Crozet exit 107, drive 1/2 mile west and take left onto Misty Mountain Road.  Well behaved, and leased dogs are welcome.  Sammy Snacks will be there and there will be a doggie snack and water station.

Charlottesville Design Marathon: Today from 10am-10pm at the Charlottesville Design Center (on the pavilion side of the downtown mall) the Marathon has brought numerous designers and architects together to volunteer to develop and design plans for some Charlottesville non-profit organizations.

Saturday:  Cville PieFest Crozet Mudhouse Noon-2pm

Flippin-Seaman Apple Butter Festival: 10am-4:30pm Bluegrass Music, Pick Your Own Pumpkin, Corn Maze, and Food… Directions From Charlottesville:
Route 29S for 30 miles. Turn right onto Rt. 56W. Go about 1 mile, turn right onto Rt. 655 (Roseland Rd.). At stop sign, turn left (Rt. 151S), go over bridge, and take the next right on RT 56W again. Stay on 56W for about 6 miles and Flippin-Seaman, Inc. will be on your left.

Carter Mountain: Apple Harvest Festival Music, crafts, food, hayrides, apple butter, apple cider, apple donuts, apple pie, and all things apple!
