Loveless Cafe

by Kelly on November 3, 2009

I went to Nashville for the weekend for Halloween and visited the Loveless Cafe.  Ellen Degeneres had Carol Fay, the lady that makes the famous biscuits at Loveless on her show back in March.  Here’s a youtube clip of Carol Fay on the show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CR3-573BlYs

Our wait was an hour and a half for a table, supposedly this isn’t that bad.  Just don’t come hungry.  It was worth the wait, there was plenty to do before we got to sit down.  The 14 old motel rooms that surround the restaurant were converted into shops that help pass the time.  There is also a Loveless store on the property where tourists can get souveniers like tshirts, magnenets, cards, jams, posters, and bacon flavored toothpicks (there is a little of everything available for purchase in the shop).  The newest addition to the Loveless attraction is the barn.  The barn hosts wedding events, parties, and music videos.  If you’re in the area it’s worth the trip for their amazing breakfast.

Wow, and hour and a half? I had never heard of that place. Have you ever been to South of the Border?

That’s funny, I haven’t been there but I just looked it up and it looks like quite the attraction.
