Matt Shields, 2009’s Red Apple Winner, launched a balloon, with his ap physics class, earlier this year, intact with cameras and gps tracking. The balloon was recovered 2 weeks ago including the flight details. The launch was from Charlottesville High School and the balloon materials were recovered by some bow hunters close to Manassas.
