Chandler’s Ice Cream has become a Sunday tradition for me the past couple months, especially since it’s been so warm lately. You’ll see their store in the parking lot of the Tractor Supply Company, right next to CVS on Pantops off 250. I think the most expensive thing on the whole menu is $5, prices haven’t gone up in 3 years, and the treats are big enough to split. The ice cream store was named after his son, Chandler, and most weekends you can find him working at the stand. Yesterday, owner Jon Lee and Chandler were there. The store will stay open the next couple weeks as long as people are still coming, then they’ll close for a few weeks during the colder months. The banana split is my favorite, minus the pineapple topping, I get one section of it just vanilla, then the normal banana, chocolate, strawberry, whip cream, and nuts. YUM!
