Bikram Yoga

When I first moved to Charlottesville, Bikram Yoga was one of my favorite things.  I moved here right when it started getting cold and my sister was very pregnant.  We would go to Bikram at least 3 times a week.  She felt like the room was like a big heating pad and was one of the only things that kept her from feeling sick.  I loved it because after the class I was so energized and it really helped my flexibility.

You have to be willing to block out a chunk of your day, 90 minutes to be exact.  Prepare to get there early to set up, and a shower is absolutely necessary after getting as sweaty as you do during the class, but afterwards the commitment is totally worth it.  If you’ve been thinking about trying it for awhile this is the week to do it.  They are offering the student prices to everyone this week.  That’s 30% off their regular prices (this includes packages and yoga gear.)  The sale’s going on February 22-28th.
