A short drive to Richmond, Maymont Farm has an animal farm featuring domestic animals raised on Virginia farms. Children can interact with animals including goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, donkeys, rabbits, cattle, horses, turkeys, geese, duck, peacocks and peahens. My nephew’s favorite was the goat.

Kings Dominion: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights there are mazes, monsters, and Halloween attractions. October 24, 31 and November 1st are college nights and admission is $19.99 with a college id.
